REBELLION

by Gem And The Deadheads

Wayne Eddy First heard part of "Why Can't You Feel It? while watching a Russian TV series about zombies. (To the Lake.) That one listen was enough for me to look trawl through the music credits to try and work out what the track was. I was very pleasantly surprised when I tracked down the album and discovered a whole load of great tracks.
Favorite track: Why Can't You Feel It?.
Tarrende

Tarrende I don't know how they do it, but this bands and albums energy is quite something. It gets you pumped while driving around, yet at the same time you can relax to it in even the most smoke clouded bars you can find.
It just got the right kind of groove, I'd say. Favorite track: Transgression.

Gem And The Deadheads London, UK

London based duo Gem & The Deadheads appear at first glance like any other budding group. That’s until you hear them. This is rock as it once was - gritty, uncompromising, soulful, pained and drunken in all the right places - but for an attitude as close to rock and roll as 2015 is likely to get. A stark refusal to work with management, and a sharp view on the industry around them. Hold tight. ... more
